You will arrive in Tambolaka Airport and check in directly to Waikabubak. The town consist of beautiful traditional villages, such as Tarung and Puunaga. We will visit one of those village and see closer into the unique high roofed houses, the stone tombs and even you still can see Andung the branched wood pole used to hang the skull of the village enemies after the inter clan war. There are many traditional villages in West Sumba. It is interesting to visit the villages of Kodi area where the high is almost as high as the coconut trees. The traditional Sumba houses are the home of the Marapu believers. There are virgin white sand beaches. Take your time to enjoy the beauty of nature. We will serve you with the lunch box. In early morning we drive to the east to reach Waingapu, on the way we will visit Anakalang where the huge carved stone tombs located. In the afternoon we visit three of the most prominent villages in East Sumba which is famous for their unique designed hand woven textiles, the ikat weaving. Those villages are Prailiu, Pau and Rende.
