City Tour II

First you will visit the rural market of Gunung Sari, to be the witness of Bamboo furniture industry in Lombok. Getap is a blacksmith village home industry, producing farming needs such as hand ploughs, knives, and horse shoes.
The main program is soft tracking to Ngis village (Sesaot Area) for about 1.5 hours through rice field and varieties of tropical plantation such as coffee, sweet potatoes, peanuts and local fruits etc. You will be the witness of Sasak traditional way of life.
We will refresh you by passing Jangkuk river and dam with terraced rice paddy fields view.
We serve you for lunch in a local restaurant Suranadi village.

We will continue our trip to Narmada a Kingly Garden which was built in 1727 by the King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Karang Asam the Garden is dedicated for the worship of Gunung Rinjani. The King is too old to climb Rinjani and He makes the replica of Rinjani and Segara Anak lake.

This journey is a glance to the past, where people lived naturally and so peaceful, flows as it is in the river. You will walk through the inland local villages, the children will follow you occasionally during the trip. Children are swimming, women are washing and bathing, almost all domestic activities are in the river.

Taman Narmada was built in 1727 is a kingly garden, a place of worship and the replica of Rinjani mountain and the Segara Anak Lake. It is a good place to visit to see the close up of Rinjani. The Lingsar temple – is a Hindu temple in the world, which also Moslem Waktu Telu pray together, it was built in 1714 and renovated in 1878.

We will continue the trip to Senggigi the central tourist area and you will have lunch in this place. The tour then continue to visit the temple of Batubolong, if the weather is clear you can see the panorama of Mt. Agung in Bali. Through the old harbor of Ampenan we will reach Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara and the shopping center of Cakranegara then the neighbor temple of Mayura, the water palace, which is the meeting hall of former Balinese kingdom. Drive back to Lembar harbor or airport.
